All of these birds were mounted for Museum or Department of Natural Resource use, and require very specific permits that allow me to work with them. Many birds are federally protected & are illegal to obtain. Contact your local DNR office if you have any questions regarding possession of birds, or any other animal.
Most of these images are taken during the mounting process. Any pins, tape, wires, string, etc. are removed after the specimen has been dried and transported to its destination.
